Winston Salem Investment Advisors

Robert H. Kluttz (Bob) and Charles C. Patton (Chuck), investment advisors, founded Mimosa Investment Management, LLC in 1997 in Winston Salem, NC. From the beginning, the cofounders’ goal has been to build a small investment firm that focuses on each client’s individual needs, thereby establishing a long-term working relationship.

“At Mimosa, we intend to keep our group of clients small so that we can provide the personal attention our clients deserve. Most of our clients have been with our firm for over 10 years and have grown to appreciate our investment advice.”-Chuck Patton

Mimosa primarily invests in a diversified portfolio of individual common stocks and individual bonds (treasury, corporate, or municipal). Mimosa’s overall investment style can best be described as conservative, disciplined, and growth oriented. We believe that for portfolios of $500,000 and above, money can be efficiently managed by investing in individual stocks and bonds to create a diversified, growth oriented portfolio. Individual stocks and bonds are more efficient because they do not have layers of costs built into their structure like that of mutual funds, ETFs and hedge funds.

When you work with Mimosa Investment Management, you are working directly with an investment advisor who will hand select the stocks and bonds that will meet your investment plan, not a retail broker that acts as the middle man between the client and the investment advisor.
